Countdown - 3 days

okay, so remember that bunk i posted yesterday about "letting it go" . . .yeah well scratch that.

seems it's not such an easy task to mount my ventura rack. we bought some new bolts, but if it doesn't go on easily tonight (AND i have to help, yuck), i am being promoted to queen. but it will be the queen of sad. :-(

i will embark on a 2.5 week adventure with little more packing room than a sandwich baggie. sigh.

"pity, party of one!"

i'm keeping my fingers crossed and my hands folded that the brackets can be mounted and i will once again return to my rightful throne of The Migratory Princess.

on a related note, i really do have to pull things out and start getting them packed. i've been known to miss packing a hairbrush, socks, extra shirts, and lest we forget the all disgusting deodorant faux pas of baja. i would like to at least minimize the risks by making, or at least reviewing some sort of list. . .it's what i do. ;-)

oh, and i saw my doctor today. he recommends that 1) i take another spinal injection, 2) stop seeing my chiropractor and 3) postpone this trip. guess which one i'm going to do. . . :-)
