What I did on my Fall vacation - Pre-day 1

Few things on the planet beat taking some time off the stress of work and everyday life to kick back, relax and enjoy the company of your best friend. We are fortunate, my hubby and I, in that we both love the same types of things.

I began my true motorcycling days in the late 90's riding street. Slowly, we migrated to the track, and then raced for a while. As life happened, we moved over to adventure touring. I was hooked at that point. There was so much more you could see by being able to go off road. So much of this land that is just not accessible, especially in the southwest, unless you go to it which means dirt roads.

I have to say it loud and clear, I am a dirty princess through and through. There are few things that I enjoy doing as much as riding dirt. What once scared me to death, now holds the passion that is so near and dear to my very core as a person.

So it is. . .

Pre-Day 1

Packed up the van the night before, ye loaded the bikes Friday morning. We were ready to go! I picked ye up from a friend’s house where he stashed the motorcycle he had ridden to work. And we were off.

First stop, Prescott where we had docked the rv for the summer, going up as many weekends as we possibly could to escape the heat. It was early evening by that point, we had enough time to eat some dinner, watch a movie on the dvd player, chat, and then off to bed.
